Amendments to Travel Team Policies
TRAVEL TEAMS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

PREAMBLE

The purpose of travel teams is to provide a more demanding level of play for our most talented athletes. Travel team play is very competitive, with a greater emphasis on winning by both players and coaches. Coaches typically exercise discretion on team selection and on other matters that they feel are in the best interest of the team. Parents of children who may be selected are encouraged to consult with the coach to gain a better understanding of the advantages or disadvantages of their child’s participation.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

1. Travel teams shall be formed each season by approval of the Board. All travel teams shall be under the direct control of the Cold Spring Harbor/Huntington Soccer Club.Travel Team Head Coaches are elected by the Board to a 1-year term and must re-apply each spr
